Small steps lead to inspired events. Thank you everyone for making #ArtweekGreylynn, and our inaugural Papatūānuku - Urban Flora and Fauna Trails – such a brilliant success.
Thank you to our exhibiting artists, all of the local businesses who are …even yet…hosting displays of artworks. We showcased great talent, and true to our goal, supported artists not with Dealer Galleries.
From Deborah White at Whitespace Contemporary Art and her team – “Thank you from us for all your hard work! What a week! Thank you to all of the participating venues, visitors, supporters and volunteers who have made Artweek a successful event despite this unusual year! There is plenty more art to see so please continue to support your local events, exhibitions and galleries. Most importantly we thank the artists, whose work is where our festival begins and ends. We look forward to welcoming you to next year's Artweek. 9 –– 17 October 2021.
At Grey Lynn & Around, a huge thanks to our Project Team: Jules Carrol and Sue Warren (Board members) and local art curator Hannah Holmes. What a great job you all did. No doubt we’ll be back next year, learning for our experiences this year and making our urban Papatūānuku Trails even better!
As Deborah White says: take the survey
"We're always looking for ways to make Artweek Auckland even better and while the festival was just nine days long, we'd love to hear your thoughts - how you found out about us, what you attended, what you liked, and how we can improve for Artweek 2021."

Let’s hope in 2021 that the many more of our local Galleries, along with Art Studios, Workshops and related businesses, all get on board. Small steps lead to inspired events.
