BACKGROUND:

I have my own consultancy business Ethical Matters, working from home in the heart of West Lynn. I work across a range of businesses and social enterprises, raising awareness of the risks of worker exploitation and modern slavery, developing due diligence programs and encouraging collaboration and transparency.

WHY did you join Grey Lynn & Around:

I’ve spent over 25 years working for international retail brands developing and running their Ethical Sourcing Programs. After witnessing both the positive and negative impacts of corporate behaviour, I decided to take some time out to review my own approach to both social and environmental sustainability, as well as directing more time to community and family. I’m looking forward to collaborating with other community groups to achieve a unified approach towards making Grey Lynn a leading urban village for sustainability.
